GEMBA Essay Tips from Around the Internet

Permanenthunger By Permanenthunger Published on June 12, 2016

I really struggled to find good advice on how to write my personal essays for the INSEAD GEMBA, so below is a quick list of useful links from around the internet.

INSEAD Essay Analysis by VERITAS. Mainly analyses the most recent small changes in the INSEAD questions and offers an explanation as to what the admissions committee are looking for.

A complete review of the 2016 Essay questions by the MBA essay Consultant. This one was the most comprehensive and useful article I found.

An interview with the Director of the Executive Program at INSEAD, Edward Buckingham, about what they look for in candidates. Useful in terms of having the right mindset when you start writing your essays.

An interview with with Pejay Belland, director of marketing, admissions and financial aid for degree programs at INSEAD. This is another good mindset reading.

The most comprehensive FAQ I found online, concerning the INSEAD GEMBA: Generally useful, compact, and comprehensive FAQ on every aspect of the program.

I also found this self-published guide to how to get into INSEAD, written by someone who had got into the INSEAD MBA in the first round: How To Get Into INSEAD?
