The author I'm most excited to read in 2017

"A Wizard in Bedlam" hooked me; the first book I read by Christopher Stasheff. The tale was simple and inspiring, a nice twist on a genre or plot-content some have explored in a way. Future & past merge seamlessly. It actually made me think of world history and all the mythos involving the gods, or other-worldly beings - maybe it was just someone with far advanced tech?

The Gods of War

The author of The Warlock in Spite of Himself introduces TEK, the latest in a long tradition of militant deities. But before this god can take his place at the head of the pantheon, he has to survive the not-so-low-tech efforts of jealous older gods to destroy him. Features stories by Michael Resnick, Jody Lynn Nye, B.W. Clough, Susan Shwartz, and others.

I have been collecting the 'Rogue Wizard' & 'Warlock In Spite of Himself' Series since the first book read - I have a shelf completed but know there are more out there, and they are difficult to come by (even within antique book stores)
