Comment va le monde ?

This atlas includes 22 maps to answer questions about the world today using three different angles: today's world (Why do we move to other countries? What is globalization? etc.), lifestyles (What do others eat? How do they learn? How do they pray? etc.), the planet's future (Will we one day live without oil? etc.) Short explanations answer each question simply. Small illustrations are included in the explanations and then shown on the maps, avoiding complicated legends (for example: a piggy bank to illustrate rich countries vs. a broken on for poor countries). The last map tackles the topic of "solutions to change the world": from a floating dam to clean up the oceans of plastic bags, to energy-generating dance floors and agriculture in bags. A well-thought out book, that is as interesting, as it is inspiring. For ages 10 and up.
