Comment va le monde ?

This atlas includes 22 maps to answer questions about the world today, taking three different angles:

  • Today's world (Why do we move to other countries? What is globalization? etc.)
  • Lifestyles (What do others eat? How do they learn? How do they pray? etc.)
  • The planet's future (Will we one day live without oil? etc.)

Short explanations answer each question simply. Small illustrations are included in the explanations and then used on the maps, for example: a piggy bank to illustrate rich countries vs. a broken one for poor countries.

The last map tackles the topic of "solutions to change the world": from a floating dam to clean plastic bags from the oceans, to energy-generating dance floors. A well-thought-out book that is as interesting, as it is inspiring.

Ages 10 and up.
