The 90th Academy Awards ceremony will take place on March 4. It will be hosted, for the second year in a row, by Jimmy Kimmel.

Below are my best picks in some of the categories:

Best Picture:

Lady Bird (although I think The Shape of Water will win).

Best Director:

Guillermo Del Toro, The Shape of Water.

Best Actor in a Leading Role:

Gary Oldman, Darkest Hour

Best Actress in a Leading Role:

Saoirse Ronan, Lady Bird ( although I think Frances McDormand for Three Billboards Outside Ebbing Missouri will win)

Best Actor in a Supporting Role:

Sam Rockwell, Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri

Best Actress in a Supporting Role:

Allison Janney, I, Tonya

Best Animated Feature:

Coco

Best Foreign-Language Film:

The Square, Sweden

Best Original Score:

The Shape of Water

Best Original Song:

"Remember Me", Coco

Best Cinematography:

Blade Runner 2049

And just like every year, book titles are turned into a big screen adaptation. Here is a selection of some of the books that you should be reading this Oscar season before you watch the movie.

Unfortunately, Some of the books/films listed below didn't make it to the Oscars this year.
