One of the photographs from Kai Wiedenhofer's most recent exhibition Forty out of One Million which focuses on 40 individual stories of Syrian refugees. Syrians in Lebanon and Jordan, bearing the terrible scars of war, posed for Wiedenhöfer in 2014 and 2015.
