Marcelino Truong

Marcelino Truong is a French illustrator, painter and author, born of a Vietnamese father and a French mother.
He attended London’s French Lycee, and then moved to Paris where he earned degrees in law at the Paris Institute of Political Studies and English literature at the Sorbonne.
He has worked as an illustrator and comics artist for the media, children’s books, adult fiction, graphic novels and animated film and has won numerous awards for his work.
Truong's two-part graphic novel, an account of his childhood in Washington DC, Saigon, and London during the Vietnam war was first published in France in 2012 and 2015.
