Carrie Brownstein is the award-winning co-creator, co-writer, and co-star of the hit sketch-comedy show, Portlandia, as well as an author, director, and musician. A former contributor to NPR Music, her writing has also appeared in The New Yorker, the New York Times, and numerous anthologies on music and culture. Brownstein’s bestselling memoir, Hunger Makes Me a Modern Girl, was released in 2015.
